Proposal
I would like to see Housing maintenance fund withdrawal option.
Justification
This will allow players to change homes without losing large sums of funds and re'deed/returning homes that are given from other players (Guilds).
Motivation
I would like to play with a lot of different styles of homes, and using them for storage or show rooms. BUT being able to close down a home and not lose FUNDS permanently.
Please Keep the hateful comments out of the feed, a simple down thumb will suffice.

First, once a house is placed it is marked no-trade-shared, so you can't trade between players or guilds as you mention.

You once could though, and this was the way it used to work, but credit sellers used this mechanic as a way to distribute credits easily.

However, this idea gets brought up every few months and the devs have consistently said no to it.

As Gawl says, people abusing the system used the mechanic to transfer credits, and I'm not convinced that developer time is best used to fix that when the loophole has already been closed.

In order to downvote, people must comment, so please keep that in mind. There's no such thing as "a simple down thumb" here.

I just don't see a need for this; people can simply not put so many credits into the maintenance of a house.

Thanks for your suggestion, as mentioned, we don't support the ability to withdraw credits once deposited into maintenance pools due to its use for laundering credits. We recognize there is a case for wanting to move maintenance between houses, but because of the limits that already exist on the amount of maintenance that can be placed in at once, we don't see this as necessary, and the investment in developer time to improve this experience (such as a no trade shared credit that could be applied to a different structure) isn't currently seen as a priority.
