Proposal
Add something to the website that actually checks the loot tables and actually calculates what our loot chances are.
Justification
We should have a right to know, but devs should be getting asked constantly.
Motivation
Speculation breeds dissent, then devs get asked to check and have to spend their time looking, instead of working on whatever else they were working on. It can all be solved by this.
We should be able to lookup by item (dropdown, I presume) or mob, what our chances are of getting a specific item (or what that mob has a chance of dropping). This will save the devs a lot of time from being asked to check, and it could even have a "you will have to kill approximately X of this mob to get Y calculator part.

I'd push back on this if it were a new game. Make it be player generated wiki content. But it's already largely on swgjunkyard. This would be good and not break any discovery immersion.

We've discussed this and decided against it because:
  1. It makes the game feel too transactional. "I do Y, kill X and I get Z."
  2. We've made a number of changes to the loot system such that it isn't really consistent with the NGE live tables and have a number of additional changes on our roadmap as well.
  3. We do not wish to reveal the loot drops or chances of content that is newly developed or that has been heavily revised (e.g. Mustafar).
