New Schematic/tool - Item Rename device

Proposal
To create a new tool capable of renaming crafted items.
Justification
Unable to rename an item after the final crafting screen.
Motivation
My fat fingers and smooth brain.
I've lost count of the amount of time's I've been pulled in to the flow of crafting and made a few weapons without changing the name, or I've fat-fingered something or mis-labeled something with no recourse to fix it.

I propose giving crafters a tool whereby they can either use the tool up, or reduce the charge by one, to rename their player-crafted item. The tool, however, would only be able to be used by the crafter to rename their own creations. I imagine it'd be possible to check the item's "Object Creator" field against the logged-in character's name. I don't know how it would go with name chances - based on the community feedback, it might be a case of not being able to rename objects after a name change.

A few ideas I've been tossing around are:

Crafted by Artisans:
PROs:
Easiest to implement (I would imagine)
one size fits all - any tool can be used to rename any item.

CONs:
Artisans can get anywhere between 10 and 17+ experimentation points, it could possibly be tough to balance one person making the tool over others.

Crafted (and only useable) by each advanced profession:
PROs
Much finer control over the performance outcomes of the tool.

CONS:
Duplication of code across all advanced crafting professions.


What does the community think?
 
It should also be usable on an entire crate of goods that you yourself makes, just in case there is something limiting that. Misnaming one thing is unfortunate. Mislabeling an entire factory run is devastating.

Also: architects should make it because why not! We need all the help we can get.
 
The con about artisans getting multiple experimentation points is mute. The tool wouldn't have to experimental. It could be a single use item that used grind resources. Even if it were made to be experimented on, it would only be uses, and more than 10 points would be useless.
Putting it in artisan, probably novice, would make the most sense to me, and a single use tool made with grind resources.
 
I’ll make this as a single use item for Tailors to craft that involves a credit sink sure

Simple craft tho doesn’t nearly need to be this complicated
