- Proposal
- Make the restrictions on custom naming reverse engineered space components the same as that of crafted components.
- Justification
- You can have "|XYZ| Component 1" for crafted, but you are not allowed numbers or special characfers for reverse engineering names.
- Motivation
- Make components that are not default named have the same naming conventions/restrictions whether crafted or reverse engineered.
It would make keeping a "brand" of shipwright parts easier through sharing a naming convention. Also being unable to use numbers in one but not the other doesnt make sense.
Currently the filter on what youre allowed to call the same component is different between being crafted and being a product of reverse engineering.
Crafted can have special characters such as pipe (|) and the full set of numbers, where as the custom result of reverse engineering can have neither. Just want to make the validation normalised for the same component.
