Well on Dathomir, thats the point. On endor there are more yellow mobs.
Regardless, I understand it can suck trying to find a safe spot especially at lower levels. Lowering mob density isnt the answer though.
 
I'd say turn them up.. often times find myself only able to hunt packs of 3-4 then wandering 200m and another pack of 3-4. The lairs by tox are larger due to the group size of the party when the mission spawns and the hyper lairs are ideal for xp.
 
i guess it makes sense, we wouldn't want anyone to be able to safely put down harvesters on a low teir world or to help with server lag by reducing the amount of NPCs that are in the world, as long as we get a little xp. I dont even know why I bother voicing an opinion :D
 
Opinions are fine. I would instead advocate for something along the lines of reduced aggro range if a mob is 60 or more levels above the player since in those cases it is almost always a lvl 1 running out to the middle of nowhere to place a harvester, dismounting, then getting swarmed when mobs spawn up because they haven't rendered and 1 shot.

Vetting an idea on Discord, or DMs before posting a PV is a good thing to do.

we could triple the spawns and it would not create more lag so im not sure why that would be justification for this

It seems like the actual problem you want to solve for is Artisans getting instantly killed, which makes sense, that sucks. I think there's other solutions that can be explored that don't deal with mob limit, I'd say you should talk to Senators about that because it has been an issue that needs addressing for quite some time and we've had various proposals over the years but nothing has ever been consensus driven and locked in
