- Proposal
- *Create an "Elite Bounty Hunter" progression path through missions—much like the progression systems for Imperial or Rebel pilots. This would take players from low-level tasks to truly extreme challenges, featuring a mix of group and solo missions, with bosses or mission finales that cannot be easily defeated.
*Introduce unique items exclusive to bounty hunters—such as armor and weapons with slight stat boosts—that can only be equipped by those in the bounty hunter profession. Many of these items would be obtainable only by defeating mission bosses, with the specific items tied to the difficulty level of the boss.
*Implement a diverse and varied bounty hunter mission terminal. Depending on a player’s "Elite Bounty Hunter" rank, they would gain access to missions that involve achieving specific milestones—for example: “Eliminate A, then acquire B in space, locate object C, and finally obtain D—take it to E and eliminate the target.” It would also be great to have the ability to choose the type of missions that appear on the terminal; just as you can currently select a direction (N, S, W, or E) for standard missions, you should be able to choose the mission type as well.
Include unexpected, highly powerful final bosses—whether within the elite bounty hunter progression path or via bounty hunter mission terminals. Occasionally, the target NPC could suddenly change into a high-level boss—acting as a trap for the bounty hunter—or the player might be ambushed en route by a group of high-level “anti-bounty hunters.”
*As a fan of Boba Fett, I would love to see an item or piece of his armor included—even if it’s just a decorative piece rather than something that can be worn. It could be a random reward granted at the final stage of the elite progression path.
- Justification
- The PvE bounty hunter gameplay currently feels too linear and repetitive.
- Motivation
- Make playing as a bounty hunter more FUN and engaging.
Ever since I started playing SWGR, "Extremely Dangerous" missions become repetitive, and the rewards are almost always the same. PvP hunts are often frustrating; I’ve consistently been pitted against Jedi or elite-level players. I believe this can be improved—making the role more engaging and rewarding so that players don’t give it up so easily would be fantastic.
