Proposal
Increasing GCW Ground and Space Content. Giving room and time for GCW Officers time to grind to keep their rank or regain lost regions before losing their ranks. This is to give players breaks from grinds.
Justification
Make the game even more engaging while giving players small breaks from GCW grinding.
Motivation
Keep people engaged in GCW content.
Some suggestions and ideas I had for GCW content for space and ground. I would love to hear any feedback.

GCW Ground Planetary Defense & GCW Suggestion
  • GCW Officers can use GCW Factions points they earn from GCW PVP/PVE, GCW ground tokens or credits (last resort) to buy faction bases. However, GCW Ground Tokens earned from GCW invasions are worth more than factions points and credits.
  • GCW Officers can use space tokens for ground GCW bases but it will cost 2 times the amount to use them.
  • GCW Ground tokens being used to buy faction bases, defenses and increasing planetary defense is to encourage players to take part in GCW invasions and win them.
  • Majors, Colonels and Generals can increase the level of NPC patrols on the plant.
  • In addition, they can decide what Combat LVL they want the allied GCW NPC patrols to be and have armored vehicles patrolling the planet. (ex: The standard NPC patrols for rebels could be Combat LVL 22 but once GCW officers increase their planet defense, the NPC combat lvls could go up to Combat LVL 60, 80 or 85 the max. This also applies for standard Imperial NPCs as well for Imperial players if they increase their planetary defense.)
  • Also, having probot droids patrol the planet. If they spot an enemy SF player it will alert the faction officers of that planet. They will also transport NPCs to the players locations to harass those that try to flip the planet's faction.
  • However, it would cost more to increase the planet's defenses and faction NPC to its max potential. Junior officers and enlisted players could donate to increasing the defense of a planet they occupy by going to an faction SF base.
  • GCW officers Colonel or General can or could invest in having GCW heroes assist in flipping the planet to their side for them or defense their base. However, getting GCW heroes to appear with them in battle will cost alot in GCW points, credits or GCW Ground tokens

GCW Space Planetary Defense
  • GCW Officers can increase NPC space patrols over a space lane by using GCW Faction points earned from GCW PVP/PVE or GCW Space Tokens
  • GCW Space Tokens worth are worth more then GCW faction points and credits.
  • GCW Space Tokens earned from GCW Space Battles are better suited to increase space patrols over the planet along with having random Tier 5 GCW patrols in space making it difficult for Enemy Players.
  • GCW officers can increase the GCW Space NPCs by donating resources at a GCW SF Faction Base
  • GCW Officer with the rank of Colonel or General can drop the Freedom Station (Rebel) from Deep Space or Star Destroyer (Imperial). Only one can be planted in the space system and the faction that controls the space system can deploy either the Freedom Station or Star Destroyer (if possible)
  • Enemy Players would have to destroy the Freedom Station or Star Destroyer to drop a Capital base in space (if possible)
  • Freedom Station and Star Destroyer will be harder to destroy compared to its counter part in Deep Space. Both will be more accurate, hit harder and they will have stronger shields along with armor. They are also protected by Tier 7 Faction NPC ships by default.
  • Planting a Freedom Station (Rebel) and Star Destroyer (Imperial) over a space system will cost alot of credits, GCW Points and/or GCW Space Tokens. This is to make it difficult for players to acquire. However, planting them will increase faction patrol over the space system 2 times over.
  • Destroying either of the two can contribute with flipping the space lanes
  • Rebel and Imperial Space Stations being destructible. However, firing at said stations will cause an assortment of Tier 5/6/7 NPCs to confront the Player and cause them to become overt in space. They will also alert Enemy faction players that the NPC space station is being attacked (if possible)
  • Destroying Rebel and Imperial Stations can contribute with flipping the space lanes
  • Players can spawn a new Rebel and/or Imperial Space Stations by donating to the SF Base on the ground

GCW Officer Rank/Stat Decry Suggestion
  • GCW Stat Decry to occur at the every two weeks. This is so that players can have time to grind and keep their rank without fear of losing it right away.
  • GCW Officer players also have until first of the month to regain lost regions before losing their rank. Giving players a decent amount of time to retake their regions and work with their teams to complete this task
  • The idea is to give players time to take breaks from PVP/PVE and then get back to the grind so that they don’t lose their ranks within a week. They will now have a month to keep grinding before stat decry takes over or lose rank for not keeping a region under their control.
  • GCW officers space with Recruiters to ask if they can stay with their current Officer rank or continue moving up in rank as some many want to stay with a specific rank then continue moving up

Some good suggestions in here. Lots to unpack but I’d definitely welcome more GCW content.

The probe droid bringing NPC is a fun addition I’d like to see, though the functionality of locating SF players already exists on the planetary map.

Also if you’re out there and you’re downvoting ideas at least have the common decency to feedback why. 🤨

Thank You for the feedback. The idea of stat decry and being demoted from rank the first of the month is to give players breathing room to lso do other content as well.

Some of these are good ideas.

I like the idea of being able to use GCW Tokens to buy bases, but the question is why would that NEED to exist when you can already simply buy them from the recruiter using credits? All this would do is simply create an alternative to something that already serves as a credit sink.

I like the idea of having Probe Droids of either faction patrolling the various planets looking for SF players and calling npcs on ones they find. That would make evading them more fun.

The idea of having GCW Heroes show up to a fight if someone is willing to invest points into is also really cool, and also somewhat terrifying as a concept. Maybe incur the cost of having your faction standing with that faction and GCW Points drop by a given number of points as a result of calling that hero. Though I could see this more for Imperials, as I can absolutely imagine Darth Vader being particularly annoyed he needs to come in and salvage a situation that goes beyond the control of the person who is supposed to be dealing with it. (See Darth Vader in Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds in the mission on Reytha, where Governor Antes Belladar calls for assistance in response to a Rebel uprising on the planet. Which then results in him getting force choked to death by Vader who comes in to salvage the situation.) Rebels I can't see having TOO much of a problem with it from a lore perspective, but things should absolutely be even for fairness sake.

I disagree with putting the decision of what levels NPC patrols should be in the hands of the players, that should be left unchanged. though I do like the idea of NPCs in Strongholds (Theed, Anchorhead, Nashal, Imperial Bases on Dantooine and Yavin, Rebel Base on Rori, designated cities in-game whose faction garrison does not change with who controls the area. Though I can't remember if those existed with the CU, though I know they did at SOME POINT) being at a fairly high level (75 to 80) Putting that choice in the hands of players could lead to sabotage. (I could see someone with a main of one faction leveling an officer of the opposing faction, and setting the npcs in the region that officer character is responsible for to be low level to allow for something to be more easily taken

I do have an issue with deploying a Star Destroyer, or Rebel Station, as cool as that would be. This could potentially interfere quite severely with pilot squadron missions given these things can fire at any faction-aligned player that comes into their radius, and I can't imagine the game differentiates between SF and regular pilots in cases like those two specific stations. Can you imagine trying to go through your pilot mission, and you find out that something you need to kill is within firing range of a star destroyer? I'd straight up stop leveling pilot at that point. Even if it IS possible to solo those things at master with good enough parts and enough skill, a leveling pilot would not have that luxury, and this is ignoring entirely the proposal to make this thing stronger, which I disagree with wholeheartedly by virtue of the fact that it is in a non-pvp system for reasons I have stated above.

I put on player voice GCW Hero Slayer content. Where GCW Heroes will appear if that faction either controls the planet or they are called in to assist via GCW Player with the rank of Colonel or General. The GCW heroes can appear randomly too if the planet is being flipped they will come to attack the players trying to flip it or assist SF players to contribute flipping the planet. Players that are able to defeat the GCW heroes will get rewards including if they defeat all of them that are enemies of their faction.

The concept idea

Rebel GCW Heroes:
Luke Skywalker (Shadows of the Empire/Return of the Jedi era). The hardest GCW Hero Imperial players would have to face.
Han Solo He would be hard to fight due to Chewie at random being along side Han to provide support
Chewie
Leia
Lando
Dash Rander (because I am fan of the Shadows of the Empire game)

Imperial GCW Hero
Darth Vader The hardest hero for rebel players to face
Mara Jade The second the hardest
Boba Fett
General Veers
Captain Thrawn

GCW Space Heroes
Dash Rendar's ship aka The Outrider being a ship that can appear in GCW Space Battles.
Han's Solo ship aka the Millennium Falcon appearing in GCW space battles. Both ships would be tough to fight due to being POB and Tier 9 ships but they can be beaten.

Yeah I didn't think of that part. But having to deal with stronger faction NPC could be challenging and fun.

Yeah, I figure that as well. Thought of pushing for an idea of an deep space two map. Deep Space Map 2 idea was to have mon calamari and star destroyers going at it with each other. Basically like the GCW Space Battles only its not frigates its the capital ships.
