- Proposal
- Implement a second instance of Hracca Glade that is unlocked by completion of the Original Hracca Glade.
- Justification
- Expanding on end game content while using existing systems/content.
- Motivation
- Bringing more endgame content to Kash!
The Hracca Glade is a piece of endgame content tied to the completion of several Ettyyy Hunting Ground questlines.
Once you complete the Glade, you would receive a comm message from a Trandoshan (name open to debate, but let's call him TrandoSam).
TrandoSam says that he has heard tales of your prowess and wishes for you to prove yourself to “The Scorekeeper,” a Trandoshan deity for hunters.
I will leave the specific conversation and lore of this quest to staff, but he would send you to kill several named beasts on Kashyyyk, such as Jagged Fang ( A Named Varactyl) , a named Bolotaur (maybe around -315, 689?), and Wallnugget. Once you have completed these, you will be sent back to the Hracca Glade for one last hunt.
Sidenote: These quests would be a great spot to add the missing Bolotaur hunting trophy and perhaps add a Varactyl Hunting Trophy.
This version of Hracca Glade maintains the original conditions that made the instance successful without bogging down the experience. Players must fight back against the Chiss Poachers while nature simultaneously retaliates. The new version features four distinct bosses.
Boss 1: A named Webweaver boss. This encounter provides the ideal drop location for Webweaver DNA, a Legendary Schematic for The Void, and a common drop for the webweaver blanket.
Boss 2: A named Urnsor’is boss. This would be an amazing place to add Urnsor'is DNA as a drop, as well as a Legendary Schematic for the Urnsor'is Soulleecher.
Boss 3: The Katarn boss. Katarn DNA should be added to this boss's loot table, with a rarity comparable to Wampa DNA from Unkajo (Hoth). This is also the premier location for Legendary Knuckles of Katarn.
Finale: The Kkorrwrot encounter introduces high-stakes mechanics. After clearing all poachers in the glade, the Kkorrwrot spawns and summons any undefeated beast bosses to its side. For -example, failing to defeat the Katarn boss prior to this phase results in a simultaneous fight against both the Katarn and the Kkorrwrot. This mechanic rewards highly competent groups who may choose to bypass preliminary bosses to fight all four at once, while allowing for emerging metas based on strategic boss selection.
The primary reward is a Legendary Chiss Poacher Backpack. Reintroducing a competitive version of this backpack brings one of the most sought-after appearances in SWG history back into the game. The item should feature unique bonuses such as "Additional Damage to Beasts," providing a distinct and valuable objective for players to farm.
