- Proposal
- I propose unique home storage items similar to satchels and cargo pocket containers with color options and varying sizes and capacities for deco storage on shelving and tabletops.
- Justification
- I feel more options for actual functional decor items allowing greater creativity and aesthetically pleasing mini or micro-management of storage is a valid justification for making the change. I can think of no negative impact resulting from this addition.
- Motivation
- I look around my own home and those of others and realize how often we all use small boxes or chests for storage. Shelves with 3-4 boxes, each with different things inside. Attractive boxes, old/antique silverware cases, old cigar boxes, watch cases, small pouches, wooden bandsaw boxes, nesting boxes, etc.. They adorn tabletops, hutches, sofa tables, entry tables, and dominate in kitchens, dens, garages, man caves, etc. This also goes RIGHT in line with tinkerers and crafters...you can't find a maker with 4 dressers in his shop and not 100 cigar boxes, but all bets are on both being displayed at all times.
As I was in game last night trying to decide what containers to set on my glass shelving i realized not only do I lack the option of coloring my cargo pocket containers or satchels, but I'd much prefer (what I saw in my head at that moment) a few mini elegant chests in different colors, for example, to sit on those shelves. Maybe 10-20-15 item...maybe 2-3 different sizes according to capacity but none larger than what would fit on any Glass Top Table plate or Glass Shelving (for perspective). Color options would be great as well.
In lieu of this concept taking time away from the awesome being done with Resto, possibly a time-saving tide-us-over for color palettes on packs, satchels and cargo pocket containers just to add some variety and visually appealing function.
Sometimes less is more...
