Renaming storage droids on demand

Proposal
Makes it a lot easier to keep everything in order instead of shifting through 17 different droids to look for one specific item or items.
Justification
Can use the data pad to rename them. To our leisure. Give us an option to do that.
Motivation
Organization.
Could we look at the storage droids or all droids in that department. So if we have storage droids and can rename them so it will be a lot easier to keep up with instead of the Droid Engineers only naming them that one time, and that’s it.

honestly the renaming of droids and pets need a easyer way to do it then how it is now by like only right clicking the droid and set name just like how we do to day on a chest or backpack

I think for droids it makes perfect sense to right click and rename droid. For pets it’s kind of cool that you have to “teach” them their name. I’m not a CH but that always made sense to me while the droid one didn’t.

To name a pet you Radial the pet while it's out of your datapad and type the new name.

To name a droid, you "program" 4 commands with Name command until the droid recognizes it's name.

Droids do have the longer of the two processes.

Haven’t played CH since 2004 lol. That system seems the opposite of what makes sense. I’d say if you can name pets that way you should be able to name droids as well.
 
Definitely a much needed change, this is long overdue. There should be an easy, built in way to rename droids instead. Having to program multiple commands just to change a name is just tedious.
