Proposal
Unattended autopilot in POBs.
Justification
An autopilot is self explanatory.
Motivation
A pilot could be able to do other stuff inside the ship than only being a pilot. That would improve a lot roleplaying, for example, to have a "jack-of-all-trades" pilot. Also, simple fun: the pilot could join the crew in celebrations instead of just sitting there stranger to others.
In POBs, when you leave the pilot seat, the ship stops. It would be handy, for lots of reasons, if the ship was on autopilot, to be able to leave the seat and do something else while the ship is reaching for its destination.

What OP means with the post is to allow ship continue flying in autopilot even if the pilot is not sitting at the seat. Odd how something like this simple got complicated to explain.
There is nothing that would hint that PoB ships would be given option to solo content with the autopilot.

Idea is simply to allow the pilot to set ship on autopilot to the space station for the example from map, while being allowed leave his seat without it going off, so the pilot can chill with the crew aboard meanwhile.

Also not all people play with two toons at the same time.

That‘s what I meant since the beginning. That‘s simple to change and makes the game more realistic.
