I very much enjoy JTL. Loved it 20 years ago, love it today. It’s why I play.
Eta-2 Actis has been my goal.
I know that that deed is obtainable through the questline. However, a while back, whilst scrolling through a Bazaar terminal, I see two entries listed for that deed. One has 3 deeds up for sale. So, because all I have been doing is JTL, and my schedule isn’t the best, I figured I would save up and buy the deed.
I didn’t think this would be a problem. Because the game has the Eta-2 Actis deed listed, I have to trust the devs (and everyone else who knows better) that that deed can be traded or sold. The idea that I have to check the internet for every item I want to purchase on the Bazaar is absurd. So when you complete the quest, you get the deed and you cannot use the deed without completing the quest. So who would buy this deed then? Everyone who did the quest has it.
So today I finally got enough money. There were 3 Eta-2 Actis deeds listed. I purchased the least expensive one.
I right-click to generate ship and I get a lovely message pop up that says, “You have not completed the quest needed to fly this ship.”
I propose that the Eta-2 Actis deed be updated to be “No Trade Shared.”
Let’s make sure no one else falls prey to this.
