Proposal
Make player characters not be counted as friendly jedi in a group for the purposes of Visibility Scaling until they have or gain visibility.
Justification
Currently players are additionally hampered with visibility for bringing additional jedi to groups to offset the benefits that a jedi brings. Making the application blanket to all jedi characters discourages group invitation of the character even when not bringing those benefits.
Motivation
This would allow a player who is not trying to min-max on a jedi character, by putting all skill points into Force Discipline trees, to be able to engage in group activity using other profession skills and encourage hybrid or role-play engagement without making things harder for the other overt jedi in the group.
Currently, all or nearly-all jedi I have seen play solely with the Force Discipline profession trees. While synergy encourages this, the current visibility system in place discourages profession experimentation or character roleplay for the average active force user that would actually exist at this time in the galaxy (e.g. Cal Kestis before being caught using force/saber).

TLDR is basically this guy wants less visibility in a group of jedi because he does not want to end up in the BH boards and be hunted , oh and roleplaying :sneaky:
My apologies. I should have stopped way before this. Boredom and Insomnia are a bad mixture for me :)

Bottom-line: Well you have fun with this. Oh and the not understanding the system comes from earlier in this thread when you did not even know how it worked or why until I told you.
I don’t know why you came into this thread and continue to act like you were teaching me anything I didn’t already research beforehand. Nothing changes about the purpose of visibility and nothing conflicts with the vision or lore more than the system already does. If anything, a hidden Jedi is more lore-friendly, but you imply that’s only acceptable when playing an MMO by yourself.

Thanks for continuing to not contribute productive discussion, sounds like a good use of your time, but the purpose is to remove any additional penalty to OTHER Jedi in the group for bringing a player that is not adding vis but is still doubling it for them through scaling. This removes that additional penalty for those Jedi and gets rid of an overbearing reason for a group not to bring someone with a less optimized hybrid Jedi build. This encourages more build-play variety which you’ve somehow turned into a bad thing?
