Combat Medic
Profession Overview
Combat Medic is one of the advanced professions in Restoration which branches from the Medic and/or Sharpshooter trees.
Combat Medic forms the core of many builds depending on the players level of point-investment. It underpins the basis of full-healer style builds, which are essential to endgame PvE and PvP content. It also has a number of both powerful full damage builds and hybrid damage-healer builds. In addition, it is a popular option for a wide variety of builds which opt to ‘dip in’ to pick up powerful group heals from Bacta Spray and on-demand heals from Bacta Toss.
It is primarily used to heal allies at range, via AoE and also to debuff enemy players with Damage over Time effects or lowering their regen rates.
Master Combat Medic allows the player access to
Blackbar's DOOM and
Plaguespreader jewellery sets.

Abilities At a glance
Healing abilities:
- Bacta Spray - Heal yourself and all friendly players within 15m (AoE)
- Bacta Toss - Single target heal on either yourself or another friendly player at medium-range (shares a GCD with the Doctor skill Bacta Shot).
Damaging abilities:
- Neurotoxin - Applies a Poison, Health Damage over Time Effect
- Deuterium Toss - Applies a Fire, Health Damage over Time Effect
- Infect - Applies a Disease, Action Damage over Time Effect
- Nerve Gas - Produces a gas cloud on the floor around the player, causing enemies to bleed.
Debuff abilities:
- Hemorrhage - Reduces targets action regen
- Traumatize - Reduces targets mind regen
- Shock - Reduce targets state resistance
- Electrolyte Drain - Reduces targets movement speed
- Thyroid Rupture - Reduces targets combat speed
Utility abilities:
- Resusitate Player - Resuscitates a dead player, can only be used outside of combat.
- Revive Player - Revives a dead player, can be used in combat.
- Paralyze - Render the target unable to take action. Any damage will break this effect

Combat Medic Tree Skill Mods
- Healing Efficiency/Efficacy/Potency - Increases healing by 1% per point*
- Medical Combat Speed - Increases Speed of Medical Combat Abilities
- Bio-Suppression Efficiency - Increases potency and chance to land Combat Medic debuffs.
- Medical Warfare Efficiency - Increases potency and chance to land Combat Medic dots.
Efficiency is your chance to hit with the ability, which is against the targets base resistance.
