Proposal
Once you accept Padawan you are unable to accept player bounties.
Justification
Being a deliberate split Normie/Jedi build is already against the spirit of Jedi class which is its own self contained grouping of classes.

Doing so to mine/maxing player bounty hunting whilst teaming up with other bounty hunters to abuse Sever, Drain Force, Stasis etc is frustrating PvP experience for the player jedi.

Being a Force Sensitive BH would be more friendly, but being a Jedi/BH certainly is not and is immersion breaking.

Lastly this also makes balancing Jedi/BH interactions significantly harder when one side can be both sides or the coin.
Motivation
Keep the systems clean and provide more nuanced and balanced bounty hunter experience for both sides. Clear up lore breaking actions that are clearly for sweaty PvP try hards :)
Have a multi spec Bounty Hunter/Jedi is lore breaking, PvP min maxing play that isn't at home on Resto. It creates frustrating plays for the Jedi being hunted, and makes future balancing significantly harder.

Not to bust bubbles but that bit is wrong for this time frame. I mean arguably the strongest "Jedi" left alive hides in a swamp and stays hidden until he dies there.

According to the lore in this game's time and age, Jedi are almost nonexistent and are hunted, hated, and shunned by the vast majority of the population. The life of those who choose the way of the Force should be perilous, and they must be extremely careful to avoid being noticed as Jedi.

From this lore perspective, the Jedi's first goal should be to remain hidden and minimize any rumors about their presence. .
After my post I figured this would be the response, almost edited it with that in mind.

While I agree this time period isn’t the same as the past it’s an alternate galaxy now. Lore wise there are two Sith, yet we have a bunch. Lore wise the Jedi are hiding yet they take place in open conflict.

If we take into account the galaxy as created in the game world I could see both sides trying to hunt the other sides best weapons down. Would we see Yoda trying to hunt Vader down? No. But random Jedi #16 hunting down random Sith #25 shouldn’t be anymore lore breaking than the fact they all exist.

(Didn’t mean to sidetrack, I think we are both in favor of this PV).

Well about a hundren known Jedi made it through Order 66 alive and Sith numbers besides Palp and Vader are unknown (and Order 66 was a Sith directive and their numbers are unknown pretty much always). So the vis system is inplace to help keep these folks from running around in public everywhere. It works fairly well and helps keep the place to feel right. (we dont have any Jedi or Sith here fyi)

From the devs posting:

A note on nomenclature: SWG Restoration officially takes place in 3 ABY after the Battle of Hoth. While game mechanics and systems use the term “Jedi,” you won’t find much usage of the term in-game as part of our dialogue or story. This is because we respect that The Jedi, as established canonically in the movies, is an extinct religion. In other words, in-game, (generally) no characters will refer to you as a Jedi. Likewise, pursuing the Dark Side doesn’t make you a Sith. While we refer to these game systems collectively as encompassing the experience of playing a “Jedi” (e.g., Jedi Skill Trees, Jedi Combat Mechanics, the “Jedi” Developer Diaries, etc.), this is for ease of reference and understanding only. Ultimately, only you decide what to refer to your character as in our story, whether that’s a Jedi or something else. More on this later.

The best part about Star Wars lore is the Good Guy Jedi became an Offensive Soldier, making Attacks more than making Defense, and because they did that, The Empire Rose and they Fell.

I would like to add that I am grateful that there aren't hundreds of Jedi running around, flashing their lightsabers in game. That was such an immersion breaker back in the day . It also forced everyone else to go Jedi if they wanted to survive open world PVP. Before you knew it, Corbantis looked more like the great Jedi/Sith war from hundreds of years before than the GCW.
