Empire Day Engineering
This collection can be completed during the
Empire Day event.
If you are an Imperial Crafter, you can start this quest/collection by speaking with Kaythree in Theed.

You must be at least a Novice in either:
- Armorsmith
- Weaponsmith
- Architect
- Droid Engineer
- Shipwright
- Tailor
- Chef
To be able to start and complete Kaythree's Crafter Quests.
This questline/collection can only be completed once.
Conversation with Kaythree
Kaythree:
Welcome, <player name>. We have not met yet but i have heard of you. I am Kaythree, protocol droid of the Empire.
PC: Protocol droid of the Empire? ("Nice to meet you I guess.")
Kaythree:
I can only disclose that I work for the betterment of the Empire. Are you available for work?
PC: What kind of work?
Kaythree: Both sides of this conflict have lost shuttles carrying important supplies. These shuttles have crash landed in several locations and you are the perfect candidate to assist.
PC: I'm a trader, not a rescue party.
Kaythree:
I am fully aware of your occupation, <player name>. All flight crew have been evacuated. Your task is just to recover what can be salvaged from the wreckage.
PC: And that is when i will be ambushed by Rebels right? Yeah, no thanks!
Kaythree:
Please let me continue, <player name>. No enemy forces have been detected at the crash location I am sending you to. You need only travel there and simply pick up what supplies have not been destroyed.
PC: If i see any Rebels at the crash site I will return and expect full compensation. ("Great. Give me the location.")
Kaythree:
Very good, here is your first assignment. You are more than welcome to come back and collect if that happens, <player name>.
Strategy
Each mission in this questline will require you to travel far, which will waste your time.
Here are a few tips to help you complete these missions easier and faster:
- Use Search Function in your Crafting Tool when making an item
- I recommend unequipping all wearable items for this method.
- Find a Cloning Facility in Theed and use Cloning Terminal to register there.
- Western part of Theed: /way Naboo -5886 4324 Cloning Facility;
- Eastern part of Theed: /way Naboo -4892 4044 Cloning Facility;
- Utilize the "Autorun Toggle". Go to Options > Keymap > Character, you will find it there.
- Instead of holding the W button, just press the Autorun toggle. The character will drive to the waypoint for you. Be sure to check in on progress and to see if character is stuck or not.
- After you have successfully collected all supplies, I recommend you find a mob and attack it. Attack it again after it has rendered you incapacitated. When you die, pick Theed from the list that will appear on your screen. It will teleport you back to the city where celebration is held.
- Repeat the process until you are done with the mission.
- Forget about it for a year.
Crash Site Supplies, Mission One
Travel to Rori and find the missing supplies at the crash site.
The crash site waypoint has been placed in your datapad by Kaythree.
/way Rori 263 7625 Crash Site #1;
When you arrive, start collecting supply crates that are scattered around the area.
Once you have collected all the supplies you receive a schematic to craft a component. The schematic may vary to what type of Crafer you are.
Kaythree: You have crates of components and a requisition. If you haven't already, read the requisition and craft the finished product. When done, return everything to the Supply Officer here in Theed.
Check your inventory for the schematic, it will look like a datapad deed.

Open your inventory, right click it and select "Learn Schematic".
Once you have learned the schematic, craft the required item.
To craft the item you will need:
- Generic Crafting Tool
- Components that you picked from the crash site
After finishing the item, return to Theed and talk to Supply Officer.

Dac Madine:
I have very important business to attend to. Please speak with the Major if you have questions.
PC: I have supplies to deliver.
Dac Madine:
Is this some sort of prank?
PC: Not at all. I have returned from Rori crash site and I have a crate of supplies.
Dac Madine:
Fantastic! I had received a report that the supplies wouldn't be making it. You just saved the Empire a great deal of money. Please hand me the supplies.
Open your inventory, pick the crafted item, then drag and drop it on the Officer.
Reward:
- Empire Day Token (x3)
- 500 XP General, 125 XP Combat
Return to Kaythree for the next mission.
Conversation with Kaythree
Kaythree:
You have returned, <player name>. Are you ready another mission?
PC: You have another mission?
Kaythree:
Your second salvage mission will be on the same planet as the last. Rori.
PC: And you didn't send me a communication while I was on that planet because?
Kaythree:
I needed to make sure you returned with the supplies, <player name>. If you had failed in that mission there would be no reason to offer you a second. I also considered the prospect that you may like to take a few hours to rest in the beautiful city of Theed.
PC: How considerate...
Kaythree:
Would you like the second mission, <player name>?
PC: Yes. I am ready. ("I suppose the pay was good enough.")
Kaythree:
Do not forget that the good citizens of the Empire payed your royalties, or the lives of the crew that were lost in the crash. Here is your next mission.
Two proceeding missions up to "Mission Four" will require you to perform the same actions, the difference is in the location of Crash Sites on Rori.
Crash Site Supplies, Mission Two
Travel to Rori and find the missing supplies at the crash site.
The crash site waypoint has been placed in your datapad by Kaythree.

When you arrive, collect all the supplies until you receive a schematic to craft a component.
Once you have learned the schematic, craft the required item.
To craft the item you will need:
- Generic Crafting Tool
- Components that you picked from the crash site
After finishing the item, return to Theed and talk to Supply Officer.

Crash Site Supplies, Mission Three
Travel to Rori and find the missing supplies at the crash site.
The crash site waypoint has been placed in your datapad by Kaythree.

Once you have learned the schematic, craft the required item.
To craft the item you will need:

Travel to Talus and find the missing supplies at the crash site.
The crash site waypoint has been placed in your datapad by Kaythree.

Once you have learned the schematic, craft the required item.
To craft the item you will need:

After finishing the item, return to Theed and talk to Supply Officer.

Kaythree:
I am fully programmed to interpret sarcasm, <player name>. Just in case that wasn't clear.
PC: If you weren't interpreting the sarcasm, this conversation would be pretty dull.
Kaythree:
Can you complete the last mission or should I find someone with skills, <player name>?
PC: Ouch! Okay, okay. ("Right... what was the last mission?")

Crash Site Supplies, Mission Six
Travel to Talus and find the missing supplies at the crash site.
The crash site waypoint has been placed in your datapad by Kaythree.

When you arrive, collect all the supplies until you receive a schematic to craft a component.
Once you have learned the schematic, craft the required item.
To craft the item you will need:

- Components that you picked from the crash site
After finishing the item, return to Theed and talk to Supply Officer.
