Familiars

Familiars (or familiar pets) are a special type of pet that can be summoned even when a droid/beast is also summoned. Some familiars provide useful buffs while summoned, and these buffs scale in efficacy based on combat level, up to CL80.

When you travel you will lose the familiar buff, and will need to re-apply it.
