    Armor values are split into three types: Kinetic, Energy, and Elemental. Each type provides reduction against damage of that specific type (in the combat log it shows as 'Armor absorbed x points out of y'). Elemental can be further subdivided into the four types: Heat, Cold, Acid, and Electricity; but generally all four of these values will be the same and of lesser benefit than Kinetic or Energy.

    Innate Armor values like "Jedi Innate Armor" is 10 skill points per 1000 of Armor Rating, including elemental. So with 25 Jedi Innate Armor (example), that is 2500 on the table below. Cybernetics do not add or decrease from Jedi Innate Armor at this current time.

    Additionally, PSG's, Force Armor, and the Juggernaut Heroic Set's "You'll Regret That" Passive all count as a second set of armor and are calculated as such.

    For example, if you wear a PSG it will go through your base armor, but then be decreased again by the PSG's value and are subject to their own diminishing returns from the chart below.
